Jack Garfein is the name and creative force behind the Jack Garfein Studio. His experience is unparalleled, both as a teacher and director. He has worked with a who’s who of twentieth-century acting, especially those associated with The Actors Studio, the West Coast arm of which Garfein founded. He has directed stage productions around the world, working directly with such playwrights as Samuel Beckett, Sean O'Casey, Eugene Ionesco, Arthur Miller, and William Inge. Garfein has been teaching the craft and art of acting for the past 40 years in Paris, New York, London, Berlin, Madrid, and Vienna.

Helene Pivette is a professional actress, who has been working with the Paris branch of the Jack Garfein Studio for more than ten years and has become an instrumental part of the team. She also worked as an assistant director on the production of An Address to an Academy by Franz Kafka, adapted and directed by Jack Garfein at the Mathurins Theater in Paris. Recently, she observed several classes at the Actors Studio NY, as a guest. Helene is currently working on a one-woman show Out of My Life. Maral Tatar is an actress, singer, and model born in Istanbul, Turkey. She had her theatrical debut at the age of 6. Since that first encounter with theater, Maral’s love for acting has become an integral part of her life. She has worked on several short films and independent projects while continuing her studies at the HB Studio and Jack Garfein Studio. Maral handles the all-important administrative workflow of the Studio and helps the team to stay on top of day-to-day tasks.
